About the Programme

1. What is The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™?

The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ is a practical business-building programme and 7-step roadmap designed to help professionals, experts and entrepreneurs identify the commercial value within their knowledge, skills and experience and transform it into a viable product, service or business opportunity.

Rather than starting with the question, “What business should I start?”, the programme encourages you to begin with what you already know and explore where that expertise could create genuine value for others.

2. What is the main purpose of the programme?

The purpose is to help you recognise that your knowledge and experience can potentially become more than something you use within your career or existing business.

Through the programme, you’ll explore where your expertise intersects with market opportunities, identify who could benefit from what you know, develop an offering, test whether there is genuine demand and determine how that offering could be monetised, packaged and eventually scaled.

The objective is to move from:

“I know I have valuable expertise, but I’m not sure what to do with it.”

to:

“I understand where the opportunity is and what I can start building around it.”

3. What are the seven steps of The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™?

The programme follows my established 7-step roadmap:

STEP 1: EVALUATE
Where does your expertise intersect with genuine market opportunities?

STEP 2: IDENTIFY
Which specific niche could benefit most from what you know?

STEP 3: OFFERING
Create a unique product or service that stands out in the marketplace.

STEP 4: VALIDATE
Does the market genuinely want your solution?

STEP 5: MONETISE
How will you take your offer to market and generate revenue?

STEP 6: PACKAGE
Package your offering into a compelling and coherent set of services.

STEP 7: SCALE
How can you build systems and assets that support future growth?

Together, these seven steps provide a structured pathway from expertise to business opportunity.

4. Is The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ a course?

It includes educational guidance, but it is designed to be much more than something you simply read, watch or complete.

It is a practical implementation programme built around a 7-step roadmap.

You’ll be encouraged to apply each step to your own knowledge, market and business opportunity using practical exercises, frameworks and implementation tools.

The objective isn’t simply to learn about entrepreneurship. It’s to begin building something from what you already know.

5. Do I need to have a business idea before I start?

No.

In fact, one of the main reasons for creating The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ was to support people who know they have valuable expertise but don’t yet know what business opportunity could be created from it.

You may have:

  • No clear business idea
  • A general idea that needs developing
  • Several ideas and need help choosing between them
  • An existing idea that needs evaluating
  • An existing service that needs greater structure
  • Expertise you know has value but don’t know how to monetise

The programme helps you work through these questions systematically.

Who the Programme Is For

6. Who is The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ designed for?

The programme is designed for professionals, experts, aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners who want to explore how their knowledge, skills and experience could be transformed into a commercial opportunity.

It may be particularly relevant if you’re:

  • Employed and considering entrepreneurship
  • Exploring an additional income stream
  • Considering a career transition
  • An experienced professional who wants to monetise specialist knowledge
  • Self-employed and looking for new ways to package your expertise
  • Already running a service business and want to create more structured offerings
  • Exploring how your expertise could become products, services or intellectual property

7. Do I need to consider myself an “expert”?

No.

You don’t need to be a celebrity, academic authority or leading figure in your industry.

Expertise can come from professional experience, specialist skills, industry knowledge, practical problem-solving, education, training and lessons accumulated through doing something repeatedly.

A useful question isn’t simply:

“Am I an expert?”

It’s:

“What do I know how to do, understand or solve that could be valuable to someone else?”

8. Is this only for people who want to become consultants?

No.

This is an important distinction between The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ and ConsultLaunch™.

The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ helps you explore different ways of commercialising your expertise.

Depending on the opportunity you identify, your expertise could potentially become a:

  • Professional service
  • Consultancy
  • Productised service
  • Training programme
  • Workshop
  • Toolkit
  • Guide or digital resource
  • Membership
  • Framework or methodology
  • Other expertise-based product or service

You don’t need to decide what the final model will be before you begin.

9. Can I use the programme if I already have a business?

Yes.

You don’t necessarily need to be starting a new business.

If you already operate a business, the Method can help you examine whether there are additional opportunities within your existing knowledge, intellectual property, processes or services.

For example, you might identify an opportunity to create a new service, package an existing service differently, develop a productised offer or create an additional revenue stream.

10. Can I complete the programme while I’m employed?

Yes.

The programme can be particularly useful if you’re exploring entrepreneurship while still employed because you can investigate and validate an opportunity before making significant decisions about your career.

However, you should check any employment contract, confidentiality obligations, intellectual property restrictions or other requirements that could affect starting a business or commercialising knowledge connected to your employment.

The 7-Step Roadmap

11. What happens during Step 1 — EVALUATE?

This is where you begin examining your existing knowledge, skills and experience alongside genuine market opportunities.

Rather than assuming that something will make a good business simply because you’re good at it, you’ll start looking for the intersection between what you know and what the market may actually value.

12. What happens during Step 2 — IDENTIFY?

Once you’ve explored the wider opportunity, you’ll begin identifying the specific niche or group that could benefit most from what you know.

This helps you move from a broad idea towards a more focused market opportunity.

13. What happens during Step 3 — OFFERING?

You’ll begin transforming your expertise into something tangible that can be offered to the market.

The focus is on creating a distinctive product or service that solves a meaningful problem rather than simply trying to “sell your knowledge.”

14. Why does VALIDATE come before MONETISE?

Before investing heavily in building and promoting an offering, it’s important to establish whether the market genuinely wants the solution.

Validation helps you gather evidence, feedback and market insight so you can refine your idea before committing unnecessary time, money and resources.

Only then do you move towards determining how the opportunity can generate revenue.

15. What will I explore during MONETISE?

Step 5 looks at how your offering can be taken to market and generate revenue.

You’ll consider appropriate ways of monetising what you’ve created and how your business model can connect your expertise, offering and target market with a viable route to income.

16. What is the difference between OFFERING and PACKAGE?

The OFFERING stage focuses on determining what you are going to sell—the product or service that transforms your expertise into a solution for a particular market.

The PACKAGE stage focuses on how that offering is structured and presented so that potential customers or clients can clearly understand what they’re getting and the value it provides.

In simple terms:

OFFERING = What am I selling?

PACKAGE = How will I structure and present it?

17. What does SCALE mean within the Method?

Scale doesn’t necessarily mean building a large company or employing a large team.

The SCALE stage encourages you to consider how systems, processes and business assets could help the opportunity grow without everything remaining dependent on your individual time.

Depending on your business, that could eventually involve productisation, automation, intellectual property, licensing, digital products, recurring revenue, partnerships or other scalable approaches.

Practical Application

18. What could I potentially create from my expertise?

There isn’t one predetermined outcome.

Depending on your expertise, market and objectives, you could potentially develop:

  • A consultancy
  • A specialist professional service
  • A productised service
  • A training programme
  • A workshop
  • A digital product
  • A toolkit or resource
  • A framework
  • A membership
  • A licensing opportunity
  • An intellectual property asset

The Method helps you determine what makes sense for your expertise and your market, rather than forcing everyone into the same business model.

19. Will the programme tell me exactly what business I should start?

No—and that wouldn’t be the objective.

The programme gives you a structured process for evaluating opportunities and making better-informed business decisions.

You’ll still need to undertake research, test assumptions, engage with potential customers or clients and make decisions based on the evidence you gather.

The aim is to help you arrive at a stronger business opportunity rather than simply being handed an idea.

20. Will I need to carry out market research?

Yes.

Market understanding is an important part of determining whether your expertise can become a viable commercial opportunity.

Depending on your idea, this may include researching your target market, competitors and alternatives, speaking with potential customers or clients, gathering feedback and testing assumptions.

21. Will I have to speak to potential customers or clients?

In most cases, some form of direct market feedback will be valuable—particularly during validation.

You don’t need to approach this as aggressive selling.

The objective is to understand the people you’re hoping to serve: their problems, priorities, existing alternatives and willingness to engage with the solution you’re considering.

22. What if my first idea doesn’t validate?

That isn’t necessarily a failure.

One of the purposes of validation is to discover what works—and what doesn’t—before investing heavily in an idea.

You may discover that your audience needs something slightly different, your positioning needs changing, your offer needs refining or another opportunity within your expertise is stronger.

The information you gather can help you make those decisions.

Time & Delivery

23. How much time will I need to commit?

The amount of time required will depend on your starting point and the opportunity you’re exploring.

You should allow enough time not only to work through the programme materials but also to implement what you’re learning through research, reflection, market conversations, validation and offer development.

The programme is intended to encourage consistent progress rather than passive learning.

24. Do I need to complete everything quickly?

No.

Some steps may naturally take longer than others.

For example, evaluating opportunities or developing an initial offering may happen relatively quickly, whereas meaningful validation may require more time because it involves gathering real-world information.

The emphasis should be on making informed progress rather than rushing through the seven steps.

25. Can I work through the programme alongside my job or existing business?

Yes.

The programme is intended to be practical enough to work around other professional and personal commitments.

Consistency is more important than trying to do everything at once.

26. Can I access the programme outside the UK?

Yes, where online access is available.

However, business registration, tax, legal, regulatory and professional requirements differ between countries and industries.

The programme provides business-building education and guidance rather than personalised legal, tax, accounting or regulated financial advice.

You remain responsible for ensuring that anything you create complies with the requirements relevant to your location and industry.

The Method & ConsultLaunch™

27. What is the difference between The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ and ConsultLaunch™?

The simplest distinction is:

The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™

is for someone asking:

“I have valuable knowledge and experience. What could I build from it?”

Whereas:

ConsultLaunch™

is for someone saying:

“I know I want to build a consultancy. How do I build, launch and develop it properly?”

The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ explores the broader commercial possibilities within your expertise.

ConsultLaunch™ focuses specifically on building a consultancy.

28. Do I have to complete The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ before joining ConsultLaunch™?

No.

They are separate programmes.

If you already know that consultancy is the business model you want to pursue, you may be able to go directly into ConsultLaunch™.

If you’re still unsure what business opportunity you could create from your expertise, The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ may be the better starting point.

29. If I decide during the programme that I want to become a consultant, what happens?

That’s a perfectly valid outcome.

If your work through The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ identifies consultancy as the most appropriate route for commercialising your expertise, ConsultLaunch™ may become a logical next step.

ConsultLaunch™ then provides its own 12-module, three-phase framework specifically for building, launching and developing the consultancy.

Pre-Assessment, Enrolment & Payment

30. How do I join The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™?

Start by exploring the programme information to make sure you understand what the Method is designed to help you achieve.

If it appears appropriate, complete The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ Programme Pre-Assessment.

I’ll review your responses and advise you of the appropriate next step.

If the programme appears to be a good fit, you’ll receive the information needed to proceed with enrolment and payment.

Once your enrolment is complete, you’ll receive your programme access information.

31. Why do I need to complete a pre-assessment?

Because not everyone who has expertise necessarily needs the same type of support.

The pre-assessment helps you understand your professional background, the expertise you’re looking to leverage, what you’re trying to achieve, your current challenges and your readiness to move forward.

It also helps determine whether The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™, ConsultLaunch™ or another form of support is more appropriate.

32. How long does the pre-assessment take?

Approximately 5 minutes.

It consists of four simple sections:

1. About You → 2. Your Expertise → 3. Your Goals & Challenges → 4. Your Readiness

33. Do I need to book a discovery call?

Not necessarily.

I use a pre-assessment-first approach rather than automatically requiring everyone to book a discovery call.

If your responses provide enough information and the programme appears appropriate, you can be given the next steps for enrolment.

If something needs further discussion, I may invite you to a conversation first.

34. How quickly will I receive a response?

I aim to review completed pre-assessments and respond within 48 hours.

You’ll then receive guidance about the appropriate next step.

35. Does completing the pre-assessment commit me to purchasing the programme?

No.

There is no obligation to enrol simply because you’ve completed the pre-assessment.

Its purpose is to help determine whether the programme is appropriate before you make that decision.

36. How will I pay for the programme?

If you’re invited to enrol, you’ll receive a secure payment link together with the relevant joining information.

Any payment options available for the programme will be explained before you purchase.

37. When will I receive access?

Once your enrolment and payment have been successfully completed, you’ll receive the information you need to access the programme and begin working through The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™.

38. What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Any applicable refund or cancellation rights will be set out in the Terms & Conditions and Refund/Cancellation Policy available before or at the point of purchase.

Please review these carefully before enrolling.

Support & Outcomes

39. Is implementation support available?

Where an implementation-support option is available, you’ll be able to select this as part of your programme choice.

If you opt for additional support, you’ll receive separate information explaining what is included, how to access it and any applicable support arrangements.

40. Will the programme guarantee that my business idea will succeed?

No.

No responsible business programme can guarantee that a particular product, service or business will succeed.

The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ gives you a structured framework for evaluating opportunities, researching your market, developing an offering, validating demand and making better-informed commercial decisions.

Your results will depend on factors including your chosen market, offering, implementation, pricing, competition, customer demand and your own actions.

41. Will I definitely make money from my expertise?

No specific income or revenue can be guaranteed.

The MONETISE stage helps you explore how your offering could generate revenue, but actual results depend on the quality of the opportunity, market demand, execution and many other factors.

The purpose of the Method is to help you make more informed decisions about how your expertise could potentially become commercially valuable.

42. What should I expect to have worked towards by the end of the programme?

Depending on your starting point and how fully you implement the programme, you should have worked towards:

  • Evaluating the commercial potential within your expertise
  • Identifying a clearer niche or target market
  • Developing a potential product or service offering
  • Testing assumptions about market demand
  • Gathering validation and feedback
  • Identifying appropriate monetisation opportunities
  • Developing a clearer package around your offering
  • Considering systems and assets that could support future growth
  • Creating a clearer direction for what you should do next

The goal isn’t simply to finish seven steps.

It’s to emerge with greater commercial clarity and something tangible to build upon.

Still Not Sure Whether The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ Is Right for You?

Start with one question:

Do you know what you want to build?

If your answer is:

“Not yet. I know I have valuable expertise, but I need help identifying the opportunity.”

The Leverage Your Knowledge Method™ may be the right starting point.

If your answer is:

“Yes. I know I want to build a consultancy.”

Then ConsultLaunch™ may be the more appropriate route.

If you’re still unsure, complete the short pre-assessment and tell me where you are.

⏱ Takes approximately 5 minutes

1. About You → 2. Your Expertise → 3. Your Goals & Challenges → 4. Your Readiness

There is no obligation to enrol.
